Hello Friends! Happy Friday! I'm making this post short and sweet...Hubby came home from work not feeling well and I came home from school with Pink Eye!!! I'm sorry about the photo quality of this card...it is raining and dark and dreary here...this is as good as it gets today. Here are all of the details. I started off with Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch. This week's Blogger's Challenge is called Texturize It. I added lots of embossing and stitching to give this creation a little bit of extra texture. I think that the patterned papers help too. They are from Echo Park. The main image is from The Cat's Pajamas. The bear and sentiment are from the Honey Bear set. The TCP Tuesday Challenge is to use TCP stamps and heart CutUps to make a Valentine. Happy Monday Friends! I have a quick post to share with you this evening! I'm always in need of a few thank you cards, so I used the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club and this is what I came up with. All of the patterned papers are from Echo Park. I used Chocolate Chip to accent my layers. I also added lots of stitching and a few brads. The sentiment and die cut are from the MFT Framed Greeting Die-namics set. The snowflake embellishment was made with the MFT Let It Snowflake Die-namics. I added a Papertrey Ink button and some Baker's Twine to finish it off.

I LOVE Snow Days!

Happy Sunday Friends! Well, we finally have some snow here in New England!! Yay! I think that snow is so pretty! Now, it feels like winter and that is part of the charm of living in this part of the country. It is so nice to settle in at home with some homemade soup or a cup of tea after playing in the white fluffy stuff.

My card today is for this week's TCP Tuesday Challenge. Lori is the Hostess for the Mostess and she has challenged us to use the colors Pale Pink, Melon, and Brown. My first thought was to make a Valentine's Day card because these colors are perfect for that, but I think that they work pretty well with my little snow theme here. I do have a few hearts in there too. My patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye. The button and the Berry Sorbet card stock are from Papertrey Ink. I also added some Chocolate Chip card stock. My image and sentiment are from the Freezin' Season set from The Cat's Pajamas. I used Copic Markers (BG10, E31, E33, E35, R22, R24, R81, R83) to color up my image and then I fussy cut him out. He is mounted onto one of the newest CutUps from The Cat's Pajamas...the Heart Rosette. I also used the Heart Trio CutUps to make the embellishment for the sentiment. My other accents include a mini pom-pom for my floppy eared friend's tail and then I had lots of fun with the stitching today.

My Favorite Things Sketch Cards!

Hello Friends! It was nice to have a little bit of extra stamping time this weekend. I couldn't wait to use the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. So, I grabbed my new papers are from the Sidewalks collection from October Afternoon, and I loved them so much that I made two cards with the exact same papers!

My first card uses my furry MFT friend, Fred Bear. He is colored up with Copic Markers (E23, R29, Y32, YG17, YG25) and then I fussy cut him out. A few Papertrey Ink buttons and some craft twine finish off this card.

My other card uses the same sketch and the same papers. I changed up a few things. My image is from the new Pure Innocence set from My Favorite Things called Cause for Celebration. She is colored up with Copic Markers (E000, E00, E23, E25, R11, R29, R39, YR24) and then I paper pieced her dress with some Bo Bunny dot paper. I'm trying use some of the crafty things I have more often before I go out and buy more. This MFT Loopy Bloom Die-namic has been in my collection for awhile now. I ran it through my Cuttlebug with some MFT felt. I also used the Oval Tab Die-namic with Joanne B's method to shorten it to fit a shorter sentiment. My other accents include some A*Muse Twinkle gems and the MFT Die-namics Little Open Scallops Strip Die.

As you can see, I really fell in love with these papers. The colors are so warm and cheery and with the cold temperatures that we've been having here in New England, warm and cheery is just what I needed today! Thanks so very much for visiting with me. Enjoy the rest of your week...Toodles! :D

The Cat's Pajamas Tuesday Challenge!

Happy Sunday Friends! I would say good morning, but I have been trying to post this card for the last two hours and morning has now turned into afternoon...lol! I'm having oodles of uploading problems with Blogger lately...ugh!

Anywho...here is my creation for this week's TCP Tuesday Challenge. It's an easy one this week Friends...embossing! It can be dry embossing or heat embossing. The choice is yours. Easy peasy...right? Come play along! All of the details can be found on Alma's Blog.

I started off with this new bunny friend from the latest TCP release. The set is called Feelin' Cupidy! All of the sentiments are a hoot! I went with this one because sometimes I really wonder what was Cupid thinking when I was back dating! I'd say Cupid's aim was a little off from time to time...lol! He sure got things right when he finally hit my sweet husband! I used this past week's Mojo Monday Sketch for the layout and all of the patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye. Cupid is colored up with Copic Markers (BG000, BG10, BG13, C0, C1, E23, R81, R85) and then fussy cut out. My other accents include Star Dust Stickles on the wings, Circle and Lacey Circle Nestabilities, The Cat's Pajamas Cloud Border CutUps, a couple of Papertrey Ink buttons, some TCP Divine Twine, the Seeing Spots embossing folder, and lots of machine stitching.

Blogger's Challenge!

Hello Friends! I have a card to share with you for this week's Blogger's Challenge (things with wings). This birdie image is from Stampavie. It is called Winter Birdhouse. I {heart} this image, but it took me quite awhile to color it up. I still have a hard time coloring with the red family, but I gave it my best shot. The Copic Markers that I used for this one are BG000, BG10, BG53, E23, R27, R29, R39, YG63, YG67, and YR16. The patterned paper is from Echo Park and the card stock is from Papertrey Ink. My other accents include the My Favorite Things Die-namics Simply Scallop die, Classic and Scallop Oval Nestabilities, red grosgrain ribbon, a PTI button, and some polka dotted sheer ribbon. I also added some Star Dust Stickles to all of the snowy areas and some machine stitching to the main layer.

Hello Friends! How are you? This weekend went by so quickly! I cannot believe that it is already Sunday evening! We didn't do anything too special this weekend, but it flew by. I managed to sneak in some stamping time this afternoon. This special card is for the TCP Tuesday Challenge and Jen Del Muro's January Sketch For You To Try. The Cat's Pajama's Challenge is an inspiration one with lots of texture and shades of red and hearts.

I started off with my bear friend from the TCP set, Bear Hugs. He is stamped on Kraft card stock, colored up with Copic Markers (E23 and E31), and then I fussy cut out. The sentiment is from the same set. His little heart is paper pieced. All of the patterned papers are from Crate Paper. My other accents include a heart made of cork paper from the Heart Trio CutUps with a little button and some Peppermint Divine Twine. The cirlce panel is embossed with hearts and I added some machine stitching around the main panel.

Colors and a Sketch!

Hello Friends! Is there anyone out there having problems with their Blogspot blogs? I have been having so many troubles trying to upload my pictures lately! Last week, it took over two hours before my photograph would upload, and I've been having the same troubles with this post. Hence the reason you are seeing Blogger's Challenge on Saturday and not Friday...ugh! I guess the good news is that it finally worked...right?

I combined this week's Blogger's Challenge (Colors-Black, Blue, Purple, Green) with the first sketch of the new year from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. I started off with the MFT Pure Innocence Precious Little Lamb from the Where Flowers Bloom set. My sweet image is colored with Copic Markers (BG000, C0, C1, G20, G21, G24, Y93, V95, YR31, and the Colorless Blender) and the cut out with the Classic Circle Nestabilities die. All of the patterned paper is from the So Sophie collection from My Mind's Eye. My other accents include pearls, a Papertrey Ink button, some Divine Twine, the Lacey Circle Nestabilites, and the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder.

My Favorite Things!

Happy Monday everyone! I was hoping to get oodles of stamping done while I was home on Christmas break, but things do not always go the way that I plan. I have had a restful break though, and I'm excited about going back to school tomorrow. I managed to squeeze some stamping time in today and I made this card for the My Favorite Things Guest Design Contest and I also used the last sketch of 2011 from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club.

Here are all of the details for this card. I started off with this sweet Pure Innocence image from the My Favorite Things Flurry of Love set. She is mostly paper pieced with Echo Park papers and I used a few Copic Markers (E000, E00, E01, E23, E25, BG10, BG11, and BG13) to color her up. I added R37 for the heart on her winter coat and lots of Star Dust Stickles for the sparkle. The sentiment is from the Snow Day set. It is stamped onto a die cut that I made with the Die-namics File Tab die. My other accents include a few Papertrey Ink buttons, some machine stitching, and I also used the Die-namics Simply Scallops die and the Die-namics Hearts a Plenty die. TCP Sketch and Blogger's Challenge

Hello Friends! Sorry that I have been MIA lately. Basically, I have been sick since my last post...ugh! I started with laryngitis the Wednesday before Christmas and it has been downhill since then! I am feeling better now and it has been so nice to have this week off to get the chance to recuperate. It will be good to actually be able to talk to my kiddos when I get back to school on Tuesday! Because I have been sick, I have missed a few of my favorite challenges. Last week's Blogger's Challenges was called, "Ornamental". (Sorry folks, I have been trying to download this photograph for two and a half hours!!! I'm not sure what the problem is. When I can add it, I will.) My little one and I make this 3-D paper snowflake together. Our Christmas tree was filled with ornaments so this was the perfect addition to my dining room hutch. We used some October Afternoon papers with gingerbread men and coordinating polka dots. I love the way that it turned out!

This week's Blogger's Challenge theme is "Celebration". My parents' are celebrating their wedding anniversary today. That is a cause for celebration! So I used last week's sketch from The Cat's Pajamas to make them their anniversary card. My image is from the TCP Ewe Complete Me set. I used a few Copic Markers (C1, C3, RV17, and V05) to color up my sweet pair and then I fussy cut them out. All of the patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye. The main panel is from a note card that I picked up in the Christmas Clearance section at Michaels and the card stock is from Papertrey Ink. My other accents include a heart made with the TCP Heart Trio CutUps, some Baker's Twine from My Mind's Eye, and the flower button is from Stampin' Up.

Hello Friends! Here is my card for the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Club. What do you think it? I've tried changing things up a couple of times, but I can't seem to get this card to look the way that I'd like it to. I was hoping to use this sketch design to make a set of thank you cards for my principal at school, but I'm not too sure. I love the sketch, but perhaps I'll give it another try with a different mix of papers. Anyway, here are the details for this card. The papers are from last year's Christmas collection from The Girls' Paperie. I added stitching and I embossed the red panel with the Seeing Spots embossing folder. The sentiment is from the My Favorite Things Die-namics Polka Dots Greetings Die and Stamp Set. The sentiment is layered onto the MFT Die-namics Layered Label Die. That's about it for this one. Sweet Holiday Wishes!

Hello Friends! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend. I spent my afternoon with two stamping friends. It was a great way to finish up some last minute Christmas cards. This is the design that I came up with for hubby's co-workers. I made a few extra cards for my co-workers too.

The last Blogger's Challenge was called "Tie It Up" and if you would like to play along, here is the link to Lisa Somerville's Blog. I tied a little bell to my floppy eared friend's candy cane and I also tied two different colors of Divine Twine to the button.

The star of my card is from The Cat's Pajama's Raising Cane set. He is colored up with Copic Markers (E40, E42, R11, R20, R29, R39, YG13, and YG17) and then I fussy cut him out. The sentiment is from the TCP Merry Christmas, Honey set. All of the patterned papers are from The Girl's Paperie. I added some stitching to the main panel and the sentiment piece and then I added a button made with TCP Button CutUps.

I also made this card for the TCP Tuesday challenge. This week's challenge is to make a Holiday card with any of The Cat's Pajamas stamps. I combined Jen's sketch (which I printed out and never realized that I was looking at it upside down the whole time I was designing this card...lol!) with the color challenge from The Cat's Pajamas. The challenge is to use Pale Pink, Red, and Steel Gray. You can find all of the details on Alma's Blog. My sweet image is from the TCP Raising Cane set. He is colored up with Copic Markers (C0, C1, G21, G24, R29, R39, R81, and R83) and the sparkle is from Star Dust Stickles. The papers are from Echo Park and Memory Box. The gray buttons were made with The Cat's Pajama's Buttons CutUps. I also added some Oyster Divine Twine, some TCP Seam Binding, and a bit of machine stitching.

There you have it. A whole year's worth of Jen's FABULOUS sketches!! I do have one more card to share with you tonight. My aunt passed away yesterday. Aunt Rita was a wonderful and loving lady and I will miss her. She loved crafts and sewing and I find myself thinking of her all of the time when I am stamping. This is the sympathy card that will go out to my uncle and cousins. Aunt Rita always appreciated something handmade and I know that she would love this card.

Right At Home Meets Blogger's Challenge!

Good Morning Friends! I have a few crafty things for you today. Right at Home Scrapbooking store is celebrating the twelve days of Christmas and today is my turn to share. My creations are made with Echo Park papers and Hero Arts stamps. First up is this fun tag.

The ornament images were stamped, fussy cut, and then popped up. Then I added some buttons and craft twine. The sentiment was stamped in Colorbox white ink. A little bit of polka dotted ribbon and some machine stitiching finish off my creation.

Here is a Happy Holidays card using some more of these fun Echo Park papers. I used Memento ink to stamp the house image. It is colored up with Copic Markers (C1, C3, R37, R39, G94, and G99) and I added some Star Dust Stickles to make the snow drifts a bit sparkly. A sweet little button and some craft twine complete my card.

Right At Home Scrapbooking Store Creations!

Good Morning Friends! I have a card and a tag to share with you today. The Right at Home Scrapbooking Store Design Team is celebrating the Twelve Days of Christmas. To see all of their fun projects for the Holidays, just stop by the store's blog. This month, Lisa asked me to work with some Hero Arts stamps and these fun papers from Echo Park. Here is a peek at my tag.

I started off with a die cut made with the My Favorite Things Die-namics Tag, You're It die. I added some machine stitching, a sweet little button, and some pretty ribbon. The festive tree is colored up with Copic Markers (E23, E25, G82, G94, G99, YR24, YR30, and YR31) and then I fussy cut it out and popped it up on the tag.

My card design is simple, but I love the way it turned out. The image is colored with Copic Markers (G82, G94, G99, R46, R59) and then I added some Star Dust Stickles. A button, some craft thread, and a bit of machine stitching complete my card.

Making Blogger's Challenge Shiny!

Happy Friday Friends! I am trying something new today. I have always wanted to make a calendar with some rubber stamps and other crafty things. This week's Blogger's Challenge is to make anything but a card, so I thought that this would be a great time to try one. Just head over to Lisa's blog to play along with this week's Blogger's Challenge.

I started off by inking up this sweet image from The Cat's Pajamas. He is from the Deep Breath set. I used Copic Markers (B41, B45, C1, C3, E01, E11, E13, E15, R20, R22) to color up my skating friend and then I fussy cut him out. This week's TCP Tuesday Challenge is to create shiny embellishments, so I added a skating pond and some snowflakes made with some mirror paper. To make the snowflakes, I simply used the new Snowflakes Lace Paper CutUps die. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this new CutUps die!! I also added the sentiment from the TCP Skating Bunny set. The patterned paper is from Memory Box. Here is a close up of the crafty part.

I colored up this image with Copic Markers (E11, E13, R20, R22, R29, R39, YG93, and YG95) and I added a shiny bell to the candy cane's bow. All of the papers are from the Season's Greeting collection from Echo Park. Some machine stitching finishes off my card.

Sneaky Peek #6 from The Cat's Pajamas!

Hello Friends and Happy Sunday! I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend! We are enjoying some beautiful weather here in New England. It's going to be another fun filled day at the Gajewski house.

I have another Sneaky Peek from The Cat's Pajamas to share with you today. Our floppy eared bunny friend is back and this time around he has some candy to share. I colored him up with Copic Markers (E30, E31, E50, E51, R11, R20, R29, R39, YG17, and YG67) and then I added some Star Dust Stickles to his hat and tail. All of the patterned papers are from the Season's Greetings collection from Echo Park. The buttons and kraft card stock are from Papertrey Ink. My accents include another snowflake from the Snowflake Lace Paper CutUps die, and some Cherry Divine Twine and Dove Seam Binding from The Cat's Pajamas. I also added some machine stitching around the large layer.

Here is a peek at the entire Raising Cane set and the Snowflake Lace Paper CutUps die. Both of these goodies will be available on November 29th from The Cat's Pajamas.

Sneaky Peek #5 from The Cat's Pajamas!

Hello Friends! I hope that you like today's Sneaky Peek as much as I do. I think that this set is my favorite. I have loved all of the sets that I've been working with, but there is just something about bears that warms by heart! This soon to be released set from The Cat's Pajamas is called No Peeking. It is perfect for the holidays, but I think that it would great for birthdays too.

PJ Bear is colored up with Copic Markers (E23, E25, E40, and E53) and that big ole present that he is ready to open is paper pieced with papers from My Mind's Eye. All of the patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye and then I used a kraft card stock base with white card stock accents. In case you haven't noticed, I am loving the snowflakes that you can pop out of the SnowFlake Lace Paper CutUps. Here, they are accented with some celery colored gems. I also used the Icing CutUps for my open scallops. A little bit of machine stitching and some sponging around the circle cut with my Classic Circle Nesties finishes my card. Good Morning Friends and Happy Friday! I have another TCP Sneaky Peek for you today! What a FABULOUS release this is going to be! I hope that you are enjoying all of the sneak peeks. Our floppy eared friend is back this time around, and he has a little friend with him. Here they are...

So sweet! I love all of the sentiments with this set. I especially love this particular one because I'm a huge Dean Martin fan and this was his song...minus the bunny part of course...lol! My little bunny friends are colored up with Copic Markers (BG000, BG10, C7, E40, E42, R29, and R39) and then mounted onto a panel of Papertrey Ink Pure Poppy. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye. I simply love this aqua blue color! In fact, it is my favorite color! It goes so well with just about any other color from the rainbow. This week's Blogger's Challenge is to use our favorite color. So when I was designing this card for today's peek, I made sure that it included this aqua blue color so that I could play along in that challenge too. My other accents for this card include the soon to be released Snowflake Lace Paper CutUps. I used the whole circle this time and I saved a few of the snowflakes to make a little trio in the corner of my card. All of the buttons have a touch of Divine Twine from The Cat's Pajamas. Sneaky Peek #3 from The Cat's Pajamas!

Good Morning Friends and to us in the United States...Happy Thanksgiving! I have another TCP sneaky peek for you today. This time around it's my friend with the flippers! He has a present for someone very special! I colored him up with Copic Markers (BG11, BG13, R29, R39, YG17, YG67, YR16) and then I fussy cut him out. He is popped up on a piece of patterned paper and a die cut from the Lacey Circle Nesties. All of the patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye. I threaded some Aqua Seam Binding from The Cat's Pajamas through the soon to be released Anywhere Ribbon Slide CutUps. It makes the ribbon (or in this case, the seam binding) lay nice and flat to help tie a wonderful bow. I added a gem to a snowflake that I made with the soon to be released Snow Flake Paper Lace CutUps. Some faux stitching and machine stitching finish off my card.

Sneaky Peek #2 from The Cat's Pajamas!

Hello Friends! I told you that I would be back again with another sneak peek for The Cat's Pajamas upcoming release. This time around, I am showcasing this adorable bear set called Merry Christmas, Honey. He seems quite happy with the goodies that Santa left for him! I colored him up with Copic Markers (E23, E30, E31, E33, E40, G21, R29, R39, Y35, Y38, YG93, YG95) and I paper pieced the little gift box between the two lovely pots of honey. All of the papers are from the Season's Greetings collection from Echo Park. My embellishments include a big ole red button with some Divine Twine, lots of machine stitching, and I'm not sure if you can it or not, but there is a little red gem for the dot on "i" in the sentiment. I also used Jen Del Muro's November Sketch For You To Try. Would you like to see a bit more of this set? Here it is...

I particularly like the sentiment on the left side of the set picture, "Christmas is the season when you buy this year's gifts with next year's money." It cracks me up each time I read it! Good Morning Friends and Happy Tuesday! Today is the first day of sneak peeks for the November 29th release from The Cat's Pajamas, and because I am fortunate enough to be this month's Swanky Stamper...I get to share and play too!! I'm so excited!! Are you ready to sneak a peek at the latest adventure for our favorite little bunny? Here goes...

I colored up this delightful image with just a few Copic Markers (C0, C1, R20) and then I added lots and lots of Star Dust Stickles. All of the papers are from the Season's Greetings collection from Echo Park. I used the Icing CutUps for the bottom accent and the Seeing Spots embossing folder on the kraft colored panel. The random snowflakes are from the Snowflake Lace Paper CutUps that will be released next Monday night. Here is a peek at the full Snow Days set and the new CutUps die.

Right At Home Scrapbooking Store Creations!

Good Morning Friends! I hope that you had a wonderful week. I have two more cards to share with you that use the wonderful Unity Stamp set and Crate Papers that Lisa from Right at Home Scrapbooking gave me to work with. The name of the stamp set is called Simple Blessings and all of the papers are from the Farmhouse collection from Crate Paper.

I started off by embossing the pumpkins and leaves on the main panel with clear embossing powder. Then I sprayed the panel with Harvest Orange Glimmer Mist. Before the glimmer mist dried, I wiped it off the embossed areas. I was very happy with the results.

My other card for today was a lot of fun to put together. Each individual leaf is stamped in an autumn color and then cut out. They are popped up on squares that I stamped the swirling image from the set on. I added a button with some Baker's Twine to finish off the last square.

A Productive Weekend!

Happy Monday Friends! I hope that you had a wonderful long weekend. Things have been so busy C*R*A*Z*Y here lately...we just finished cleaning up the yard from all of the storm damage, I have cleaned our home from top to bottom, I am up to my eyeballs with work from my graduate class, and I made oodles of cards for my principal! Throw in some Christmas shopping and a lot of family time and that about sums up my weekend. I also managed to squeeze in some stamping time for myself too.

My first card is for the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find all of the details here. I used this cupcake lovin' cutie from the MFT Pure Innocence Hello, Cupcake set. The sentiment is from the Pure Innocence Birthday Princess set. All of the papers are from My Mind's Eye. Copic Markers (E000, E00, E01, E23, E25, R11, R37, R39, R81, R83, R85, Y21, and Y26) were used to color up my image. I also used the Die-namics Simply Scallops die, the Die-namics File Tab die, and the Die-namics Tag You're It die. My other accents include some mini pearls, some machine stitching, and some craft twine.

My other card is for this week's "Food Fight" Challenge from The Cat's Pajamas! Susan Liles is the Hostess for the Mostess this week, and she didn't really want us to start throwing food around (although, after today's lunch duty at school, I'm not so sure...lol!) She really wanted us to use any TCP stamps with food, and as a bonus...use the Icing CutUps. I've had this cute little guy from the Like You a Latte set in my stash for awhile now. I decided it was time to ink him up. I'm going to say that the food is the soup in his cup...wink wink! He is colored up with Copic Markers (E000, E00, E01, E23, E25, and R11) and paper pieced with My Mind's Eye papers. All of the patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye. My accents include a couple of buttons, the Icing CutUps, and the Seeing Spots embossing folder. I also used the November Sketch For You To Try from Jen Del Muro.

Hello Friends! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend. Ours was on the quiet side, which was just fine with me. I made this card tonight for the weekly sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find all of the details to play along on the MFT Blog.

I started off with this sweet a' la modes girl from the MFT Miss You a Latte set. All of the patterned papers are from The Girls' Paperie and the Pure Poppy and Kraft card stock are from Papertrey Ink. My other accents include the Die-namics Let it Snowflake die and the Die-namics Simply Scallops die. I also added a Papertrey Ink button, some Baker's Twine, a length of red grosgrain ribbon, and some A*Muse Twinkles.

Happy Friday Stampers! It's been a C*R*A*Z*Y week here...no power for three and a half days thanks to an autumn snow storm (hence the reason for my lack of blog comments), no school for three days (I've never had a Halloween break before...lol!), and I even had some H*A*P*P*Y crafty news too! You can check it out here! :D

My card for today is for this week's Blogger's Challenge (a sketch from Lisa Somerville) and this week's TCP Tuesday Challenge (Colors - Marigold, Red, and Chocolate). I started off with this adorable bear from The Cat's Pajamas Honey Bear set. He's colored up with Copic Markers (E23, E25, E31, E33, E35, R29, R39, and Y38) and then I fussy cut him out and mounted him to a circle cut from my Nesties and embossed it with the Seeing Spots embossing folder. I love the sentiment. It is from the same set. I'm saving this card for my darling hubby. The next time I have a little "Honey Do" list for him, I'm going to write it out inside this card and pass it along to him. I figure if the card is cute enough, he won't mind doing all of the work that I have for him...lol! :D All of the papers are from October Afternoon. The other accents include a Papertrey Ink button with some TCP Divine Twine, and some kraft colored seam binding from Stampin' Up.

Right At Home Scrapbooking Creations!

Hello Friends! I’m sorry that I haven’t been around lately, but I’ve been without electricity, heat, water, and telephone for three and a half days! Thankfully, everything is just about back to normal and we are all safe. Snow storms in October are a rare thing here and New England. So many people in our area are still without utilities...ugh!

Lisa, from Right at Home Scrapbooking, gave me some fun things to work with this month. I have two cards to share with you that showcase papers from the Farmhouse Collection from Crate Paper and the Simple Blessings stamp set from Unity Stamp Company. My first card uses two pumpkins from the set. This cranberry plaid paper is just lovely.

The colors and the flowers on this next card just make me happy. I split one of the sentiments from the Simple Blessings set and stamped that onto an oval from the My Favorite Things Die-namics Layered Label Die. Using Acetate!

I'm going to start off by saying these photographs aren't the best, but that's because we are in the process of getting about a foot of the white fluffery stuff here in New England! I LOVE snow, but this is cutting my Autumn a little bit short...ugh! Oh well. At least the snow gave me the inspiration that I needed for this card.

I'm not happy when I miss one of The Cat's Pajamas Challenges and that's what happened last week. (I'm taking a night class for school and it is really cutting into my stamping time...lol!) So I wanted to be sure to play along with this week's challenge. Julie is the Hostess with the Mostess this week and she wants us to use acetate. You can find the details to play along over on Alma's Blog. I have never used acetate before so this was a great challenge for me. I immediately thought of a window, and with all of this snow outside my window, my thoughts went to my three penguin friends from the TCP Round the Chimney set. When I saw this week's CPS Sketch, I decided to go with a round window, and I'm thrilled with the way that it all turned out. I used my Nesties for the circles. The image is colored up with Copic Markers (C1, C3, C5, C7, E23, E57, E59, R39, YG63, YG67, and YR16) and I paper pieced the carpet in front of the fireplace. All of the papers are from The Merry Days of Christmas collection from My Mind's Eye. The Kraft card stock (embossed with the Seeing Spots embossing folder) and button are from Papertrey Ink. I added some Divine Twine to the button to accent the sentiment which is also from the Round the Chimney set. Here's a shot of the inside of the card.

For You Honey!

Happy Friday Friends! I've got a pretty good cold and laryngitis, so I'm going to keep this post on the short side. I've combined this week's Blogger's Challenge (Happy Haunting) with this week's sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club.

My little trick-or-treater is from the MFT Pure Innocence Honey Bee set. She is colored up with Copic Markers (BG70, C5, C7, C9, E000, E00, E23, E25, R11, Y21, Y26, YG25, YR12, and YR16). The sentiment is from the same set and I made the tiny tag and heart with the MFT Die-namics Notched Tag and Die set. The patterned papers are from October Afternoon and the card stock and button are from Papertrey Ink. The gingham ribbon is from May Arts. To make the white parts of the ribbon a little bit more creamy in color, I ran my E42 Copic Marker over it. Love the effect! I also added some Stardust Stickles to her bumblebee wings for some sparkles.

Hello Friends! Autumn is in full swing here in New England. The air is cool and crisp...just the way that I like it. We spent a beautiful day in New York City yesterday. It was wonderful! Autumn is truly my favorite season. However, I have a Christmas card to share with you today...lol!

I started off with this week's sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find the orignal sketch and all of the details to play along on the MFT Blog. I started off with this sweet Pure Innocence girl from the MFT Snow Day set. She is colored up with Copic Markers (BG11, BG13, BG15, E000, E00, E01, E23, E25, R11, R29, and R39) and I added some Star Dust Stickles to make her sparkle. The sentiment is from the same set and it is stamped on a cream scrap that I cut out with the MFT Die-namics File Tab. All of the patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye and the Kraft and Pure Poppy card stock is from Papertrey Ink. I also added a PTI button and some Craft Thread from Paper Source to the second panel just to dress is up a bit.

Fall Blooms!

Hello Friends and Happy Friday! My card for tonight is for today's Blogger's Challenge (Fall Blooms). If you would like to play along, please head over to Lisa's Blog. I used a Papertrey Ink set that I've had for a while, but I've never inked it up. It is called Autumn Abundance. I stamped the image and sentiment in Memento Rich Cocoa ink. The image was colored with Copic Markers (E08, E19, Y21, Y26, YG93, and YG95). The papers are from October Afternoon and My Mind's Eye. All of the buttons are from Papertrey Ink and they are tied with Craft Thread from Paper Source. The brown polka dotted mat was cut out with the PTI Mat Stack 5 die. More Right at Home Scrapbooking Cards to Share!

Hello Friends! I have two more cards to share with you today. Lisa, from Right at Home Scrapbooking, gave me two sets from the new Hero Arts-Sizzix line to design with. Earlier this month, I showcased one of the large background stamps with the matching embossing folder. You can find all of the details for that product here. This time around, I'm using the new Antique Flowers and Butterflies set. Along with the cling stamps in the set, there are matching dies that fit each image perfectly. How cool is that! The cling stamps easily attach to your acrylic blocks. Here's a picture of the set and one of the stamped images.

Here's a picture of the image with the matching die. I like to add a little piece of tape to hold the die in place before I run it through my Cuttlebug. For these Sizzix dies, I use an A, B, paper and die, and C "sandwich".

After I ran the "sandwich" through my Cuttlebug, this is what I ended up with. A perfect die cut piece!

I took this beautiful blossom and created this note card. The sketch for this card came from Jen Del Muro's October Sketch For You To Try.

Here is another note card with this lovely set. This time around, I chose to showcase the beautiful butterflies.

Happy Thanksgiving...early!

Hello Friends! I feel like I've been behind the eight ball all weekend...ugh! In fact, I used that phrase when we were running late for church, and my little one wanted to know if that was a bad word...lol! While the phrase isn't really what one would consider "a bad word", having that stressed, "I'm out of time!" feeling isn't too good.

Here's my card for this week's sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. I personalized the sentiment because this card is for a colleague to send off to her niece in the Peace Corps and she just loves it when the cards have the recipient's' name on the front. I aim to please...lol! This wonderful pumpkin is from the new Inspired By - Autumn set from My Favorite Things. I used Copic Markers (E23, YG93, YG95, YR12, YR14, YR18, and YR24) to color it up and then I fussy cut it out. All of the papers are from the Blink of an Eye collection from My Mind's Eye and the card stock is from Papertrey Ink. I used a zig zag stitch on my layers and I added some buttons made with the Buttons CutUps from The Cat's Pajamas.

Cardboard and The Cat's Pajamas

Happy Friday Friends! This is my second post for today, so if you are looking for my Right at Home Scrapbooking projects, please scroll down.

This post is all about this week's Blogger's Challenge (using cardboard) and this week's sketch from The Cat's Pajamas. Please click on the colored links to play along. When I saw the star in the sketch, I thought of Christmas. So I pulled out my new My Mind's Eye papers and got to work. I also thought that the star would look pretty good cut out of corrugated cardboard, so I combined the two challenges. The main image is from the TCP Big Bear set and the sentiment is from the TCP Your Gift set. I used my E40 Copic Marker for a few highlights on the bear and then I fussy cut him out. I added lots of different stitches to all of my layers and then I added a button made with the TCP Button CutUps.

Right At Home Scrapbooking Creations!

Hello Friends! I have some new products to share with you that are available at Right at Home Scrapbooking store in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. This month, Lisa sent me some stamps, dies, and embossing folders from the new Hero Arts-Sizzix Collection. I'm going to showcase the large stamp and matching embossing folder this time around. This set is called Silhouette Vines. It includes a stamp that fits the front of a 4-1/4" by 5-1/2" card and a matching embossing folder. Here is a peek at the stamp.

You can ink it up a couple of different ways. You could either attach it to a large acrylic block or you could just place it on your work space. That is what I did here. I then inked it up, placed my card stock on top, and then rubbed the card stock firmly and evenly for the ink to make an impression onto the paper.

When you lift up your paper, this is what is waiting for you. Isn't it a beautiful image!

Now you can take the stamped paper and place it in between the embossing folder. Be sure that everything lines up. It is quite easy. I then made a "sandwich" to emboss this in my Cuttlebug. Starting at the bottom, I used the A Plate, B Plate, My Hero Arts-Sizzix Embossing Folder with the stamped image, and then another B Plate on the top.

After you run it through the machine, this is what you end up with! Can you see the embossing...so pretty and elegant!

Here are a couple of cards that I made to showcase this product. A quick and easy notecard for the Autumn season.

After I embossed the image on this one, I cut part of the image out to give it a different look.

Hello Friends! It's Columbus Day here in the States so I have the day off from school. I was able to squeeze in a little bit of stamping this morning, and here is my card for the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find all of the details here on the My Favorite Things Blog.

I started off with Fred Bear from the MFT Oopsie Daisies set. He's colored up with Copic Markers (E23, E25, G82, G94, R29, R59) and then I fussy cut him out. The sentiment is from the My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Poppy set. I used some Papertrey Ink (Kraft card stock), October Afternoon (yellow print), and Memory Box (red dots) papers and I added a couple of different stitches to the layers with my sewing machine. The circle piece was cut out with the Classic Circle Nestibilities and then embossed with the Seeing Spots embossing folder. My other accents include some Kraft seam binding from Stampin' Up, a Papertrey Ink button, and a kraft heart made with the MFT Die-namics Hearts a Plenty dies.

You Make Me SMILE!

Happy Saturday Stampers! My creation today is for my husband. We met seventeen years ago and that's a special occasion that we like to celebrate every year. This card will find its' way into dh's briefcase this week, and it is perfect for this week's Blogger's Challenge. The theme is "Falling for You" and seeing how I fell for my dh that very first date...it fits pretty well.

I combined the Blogger's Challenge with the TCP Tuesday Challenge (Hype the Type). All of the papers are from My Mind's Eye. My sentiment is a mixture of three different sets from The Cat's Pajama's! The "You make" is from the What a Blast Set. The "Me" is from the Ewe Complete Me set, and the "Smile" is from the Kick Some Grass set. I used some faux stitching and some machine stitching as well. My other accents include some American Crafts ribbon, the TCP Icing CutUps, and the TCP Flower Buttons CutUps. The sketch is from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club a few week's ago.

Getting Sketchy!

Happy Sunday Stampers! I hope that your weekend was a good one! It was very quiet here and I love it that way! Once the cleaning was done and everyone's homework was done, it was time for Mumma to get some stamping done!

I made this card for this week's sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find the sketch on the MFT Blog if you'd like to play along too. Oh, and speaking of the MFT Blog, have you seen their new blog and website design? It looks absolutely wonderful!

Okay, back to my card. I picked up these canvas tags at the stamping store last week and I thought that they would be perfect for this sketch. I stamped a sentiment from the MFT All Smiles set and added a Papertrey Ink button and some craft thread from the Paper Source. The Martha Stewart Chocolate Twill is from Michaels and all of the patterned papers are from Jillibean Soup.

Happy Friday Friends! I hope that you had a wonderful week! I can honestly say that I'm glad today is Friday! It has been a long week! I'm really looking forward to a quiet weekend. I'm posting on the later side tonight because we just came in from shopping for a new clothes dryer. We started at one store, then tried another, and finally ended up back at the first store. Such a fun way to spend a Friday night...lol!

My card for today's post combines two of my favorite weekly challenges. I started off with these colors from The Cat's Pajama's Tuesday Challenge.

Then I paired this fun mix of colors with this wonderful sketch from Lisa Somerville for this week's Blogger's Challenge.

This is what I came up with when I put the two challenges together.

This adorable bunny, the sentiment, and all of the swirling butterflies are from the Flutter By set from The Cat's Pajamas. The bunny is colored up with Copic Markers (C0, C1, V05, V06, YG13, and the Colorless Blender.) The papers are from DCWV and My Mind's Eye. The ribbon and the button are from Stampin' Up! I added some sewing machine stitching around the edges and the white circle is embossed with the Seeing Spots embossing folder.

Happy Sunday Friends! We finally had a whole day of sun here in New England! It's been a great weekend. I did some shopping yesterday, and today I spent the afternoon stamping with my friend Linda. We made cards to send to our soldiers for Veteran's Day. There were two other lovely ladies there and it made for a wonderful afternoon.

This morning I did a little stamping at home too. This is the card that I made for a friend at school. Her mother-in-law recently passed away and I will not be able to attend the services for her, but I wanted to be certain to send a card. I used this week's sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find all of the details to play along, here. The patterned papers are from the Beautiful Life collection from My Mind's Eye. They are accented with Stampin Up's Bashful Blue and Papertrey Ink's Kraft card stock. The ribbon is from May Arts. (I just happen to find it when I was shopping yesterday!) The sentiment is from the More Essential Sentiments set from My Favorite Things. It is cut out with the Die-namics Layered Label Die Set from MFT. I added some stitching to the layers and called it, "Finished".

Let's Fly Away!

Happy Friday Friends! Hope that you all had a great week! It's been raining for a couple of days here in New England (hence the darker photographs from that last few posts), but we've still been able to accomplish quite a bit around the house.

My card for today is for this week's Blogger's Challenge (theme...travel) and for the TCP Tuesday Challenge (make a rolled rose out of seam binding.) If you would like to play along with these challenges, just click on the colored words for the links. I have been wanting to use this adorable bunny from the Take Off set from The Cat's Pajamas for awhile now and the travel theme was the perfect excuse. I colored him up with Copic Markers (BG000, C1, C2, YG25, YR12, and YR16) and I paper pieced part of his plane. All of the patterned papers are from Jillibean Soup. The clouds were made with the Cloud Border CutUps from TCP and I used some Mango Seam Binding from TCP too. I {heart} the way that the seam binding rose turned out. It was easy to do and I really like how it seems to tie the bow together. Alma has a tutorial to make the blossoms on her blog if you'd like to give it a try. (Just click on the link above.)

Happy Monday Friends! Hope that you are all well. It was a beautiful day here in New England...sunny, cool...my favorite time of the year!

Autumn is definitely my favorite season. My card for today has some of the wonderful colors of fall and of course, a big ole pumpkin. My inspiration came from Tuesday's Challenge from The Cat's Pajamas. You can find the inspiration photograph here. I knew that I wanted to use the Hello Pumpkin set from TCP, but I wasn't quite sure how the whole thing was going to come together until I came home from school today and saw the sketch from the Mojo Monday Challenge blog. You can find the sketch here. My main image is paper pieced with some My Mind's Eye paper and colored up with Copic Markers (C9, R29, R29, YG95, YR16, and YR18.) I used a wide assortment of papers...Recollections, My Minds Eye, Memory Box, and Papertrey Ink card stock. The ribbon is from May Arts and the button is from PTI.

Happy Friday Friends! I hope that you had a wonderful week. The weather has turned cool here in New England. It looks like it is going to be a beautiful Autumn weekend. My Mom's birthday is this weekend and this is the card that I made for her. I combined this week's Blogger's Challenge (buttons) and the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. My image is from the Pure Innocence Sunflower Girl set from My Favorite Things. They are accented with Perfectly Plum card stock from Stampin' Up and Kraft card stock from Papertrey Ink. If At First You Don't Succeed...Try Again!

Happy Tuesday Friends! I have two cards to share with you today. The first card is another version of the card that I made for the sketch from The Cat's Pajamas. (You can find the sketch here.) The other card makers out there really made some beautiful cards with this sketch, but I struggled with my design. So, after I posted, I decided to change things up a little bit. I removed some of the accents from my original design and I added a sentiment. I'm much happier with the results. The image is from the Kick Some Grass set from The Cat's Pajamas. I used Prisma Color Pencils (True Blue, Pink, Limepeel, and Seashell Pink) to color up this adorable bunny. The sentiment is from the Birthday Bunny set from TCP. The patterned papers are from October Afternoon. The Kraft card stock and the buttons are from Papertrey Ink. I also used the Flower Button CutUps from TCP. The blueish green card stock is from Core'dinations and I used the Seeing Spots embossing folder on the circle that I made with Nesties.

My other card is for the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. This sketch was a little easier for me to work with. (You can find it here.) I used one of the newer a la modes from My Favorite Things. This set is called Talk Nerdy to Me. She is so adorable! I colored her up with Copic Markers (BG10, BG11, C1, C3, E000, E00, E01, E08, E19, E23, E25, R11, R81, R83, Y21, Y26, and the Colorless Blender.) The patterned papers are from the Blink of an Eye collection from My Mind's Eye. I also used Kraft card stock and a button from PTI on this card. Happy Sunday Friends! Today's card is for this week's Blogger's Challenge...Stars. (Please click here to go to Lisa's Blog for more details and the link to play along.) We could interpret the theme however we wanted. I held off until today to post because today marks the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks here in the United States. I had hoped to write something eloquent about my feelings on that day, but I still fill up with tears each time I think about it. All of the memories and the emotions of that fateful day fill my heart whenever it is even mentioned. So on that thought, here is my very simple card for the challenge. I used cream and navy card stock, and some red patterned paper from Memory Box. The stars were made with Die-namics from My Favorite Things, and the sentiment was made on my computer. The button is from Papertrey Ink and I finished it off with some Divine Twine from The Cat's Pajamas. My family and I made a few more of these cards today so that we can send them to our soldiers to express our gratitude for all that they do. Thank you for stopping by today. Mixing Things Up!

Happy Monday everyone, and to my friends here in the States...Happy Labor Day! It has been a busy weekend, so it's nice to have a day off from work and do a few things around the house. It also gives me some extra stamping time. I have two cards to share with you today. They combine some of my favorite challenges too. First up is this adorable penguin trio from the Hello Pumpkin set from The Cat's Pajamas. The TCP Tuesday challenge is to use an image with wings, so I went with penguin wings. I used a few Copic Markers (YG13, YG17, YR15, YR16) to color up the small areas of the image. My sketch is from Jen Del Muro's September Sketch For You To Try. The patterned papers are from Memory Box. I added a Papertrey Ink button with some TCP Divine Twine to the sentiment and then I used the Button CutUps from TCP to dress up the bottom corner of my card.

My next card combines the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club with the My Favorite Things Guest Designer Contest. This month's contest is to use ripping and rolling in our designs. I took care of the ripping part by using a ruler to rip the straight edges on my Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 patterned paper layers. I also ripped a few of the card stock layers. I used a distressing tool to clean them up a bit. The rolling part was easy. I used the MFT Die-namics Rolled Rose die with some MFT Banana Wool Felt and a pearl for the center of the blossom. My other accents include the MFT Die-namics Simply Scallops Die with a few pearls and the sentiment was stamped onto a die cut made with the MFT Die-namics Textile Rectangle set. The star of this card is this lovely girl from the MFT a la modes - Cheers set. She is colored up with Copic Markers (B0000, C7, C9, E00, E23, E25, E40, R11, Y21, Y32, and the Colorless Blender.) A touch of Star Dust Stickles on the champagne flute complete my creation.

Got the Blues!

Hello Friends! I hope that your week went well. We started school this past Tuesday, but many families in neighboring towns are still without power. Yesterday, I had to run a few errands after school (car accident paperwork, crafty shopping) and then my family and I had some dinner together and we went to play Mini Golf. It was a great evening! I found the Butterfly Die-namics from My Favorite Things when I went shopping. They jumped right into my basket and came home with me. (I did pay for them first though...LOL!) I have had this card saved on my computer for quite some time and I knew that the MFT Butterflies would give me similar results. Basically, I CASE'd Carrie's card. It's so pretty and I didn't really want to change things up too much.

This week's Blogger's Challenge is to make a creation with monochromatic shades of blue. You can find all of the details to play along on Lisa's Blog. I used my new Butterfly Die-namics with some old patterned paper scraps from Stampin' Up. I followed Carrie's design and then used some Bashful Blue ribbon in one corner and a birthday sentiment from My Favorite Things in the other. Sketches!!!

Good Morning Friends! Our power just came back on, so I thought that I'd better post quickly before we end up losing it again. We lost a little bit of food in our refrigerator, but aside from that, we faired Hurricane Irene pretty well. I'm grateful that we only lost power, water, and telephone for 17 hours. Things could have been much worse.

Luckily, I had Jen's August Sketch For You To Try and last Wednesday's sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club printed out. Just click on the colored links to see the sketches and play along. I couldn't do any sewing on my cards, but I was happy that I could still make cards.

First up, Jen's sketch. I used this darling little ant from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. She's colored up with Prisma Color Pencils. I used Papertrey Ink Kraft card stock for the card base. It's embossed with the Seeing Spots embossing folder. The sentiment and gingham paper are from A*Muse. The flowered paper is from October Afternoon and the orange print is from Stampin' Up. I also added a Stampin' Up button and some Divine Twine.

My other card is for the MFT Sketch. I colored up and paper pieced this sweet little Pure Innocence girl from the MFT Make Mine A Double set. This time around, I used my Copic Markers (BG000, BG72, E000, E00, E01, E23, E25, E33, G20, G21, G94, G99, and R11). The white and Kraft card stock is from Papertrey Ink and I used some papers from the Minuet collection from Memory Box. My accents include the MFT Die-namics Textile Rectangle for the sentiment piece, Baker's Twine, a Stampin' Up button, and the MFT Die-namics Little Open Scallop Strip.

What A Day!!!

First off, it has been a super busy week because it's the last week before school starts here on Monday. I haven't had any time for blog hopping and commenting, but I'll be getting to that later on this evening or first thing tomorrow. Next, I had not one, but two visits from Mr. Migraine Headache. Thank goodness that was at the beginning of the week. Then, my darling husband had today off so we decided to head down to the Cape for the day, and after a beautiful lobster lunch, we were in a car accident...ugh! Everyone is safe, and the only damage to my car was the mirror on the driver's side. The poor lady that hit us loss control of her vehicle because her brakes didn't work. After she hit us, she had to hit a tree to stop her vehicle...ack! Thankfully, she was safe and we are all safe, and at the end of the day, that is all that matters. So, that's been my week. I really hope that your week was better than mine.

Here is my card for today's Tic Tac Toe Challenge from Blogger's Challenge and the Color Challenge from The Cat's Pajamas. Please click on the links to play along with all of us. The Tic Tac Toe Challenge is something new. Lisa created a tic tac toe board with a crafty element in each square. To get three in a row, I picked embossing, patterned paper, and seam binding/ribbon. The Cornflower Blue, Orange, and Chocolate Chip colors for my card came from the TCP Tuesday Challenge. I used The Cat's Pajamas Birthday Bunny set. My sweet little bunny is colored up with Prismacolor Pencils. (I'm still having fun with those thanks to Dave Brethauer!) The patterned papers are from Stampin' Up. I used the Seeing Spots embossing folder on the bottom of the card and I dressed up the top with some Mango Seam Binding from The Cat's Pajamas.

Challenges! Challenges! Challenges!

Happy Friday Friends! We have one more week before school starts here and I feel like the summer is slipping away! We are trying to squeeze in everything that we can before we head back. Today, we went to the SEE Science Center in Manchester, New Hampshire. They have a LEGO display of the Millyard in Manchester from the early 1900's. It was wonderful! The science center is perfect for children around seven years old and younger. It's well worth the trip if you are in the area.

My card for today combines a few challenges. The sketch is for this week's Blogger's Challenge. You can find all of the details to play along on Lisa's Blog. Then, last week, I wanted to play along in the TCP Tuesday Challenge, but I ran out of time. The challenge was an inspiration challenge. You can find the photograph on Alma's blog. It was filled with reds and greens and Christmas items (trees, ornaments, holiday place settings), and made for the perfect opportunity to pull out my TCP Deep Breath set. I colored up this sweet bunny with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut him out. I used some papers from Memory Box and The Girls' Paperie. This week's TCP Tuesday Challenge is to use felt. (You can find all of the details to play along here.) I grabbed my MFT Let It Snow Die-namics to make some felt snowflakes and then I added some little buttons (made with the TCP Buttons CutUps) and Divine Twine to each snowflake. I dressed up the bottom of my card with the MFT Little Open Scallop Strip Die-namics. I used a rhinestone flourish from Michaels and the Seeing Spots embossing folder on the main panel.

Now, you may be wondering why I pulled out my Prismas. I'm usually a Copic Girl, but I had the pleasure of taking a Dave Brethauer (owner of Memory Box Stamps) coloring class last Monday night with my friend Linda. It was fabulous !! I was thrilled to learn how to use my pencils again and I thought that it was time to give them a little love too!

Happy Sunday Friends! So sorry for being out of the blogging loop lately. We had a huge yard sale yesterday and it literally took me all week to gather things from the attic and around our home, organize all of them, and then set everything up. We had LOTS of items for sale. Thankfully, many of them are off to good homes. So that's where I've been...how was your week?

I combined two of my favorite weekly challenges for today's card. This week's Blogger's Challenge theme is Back to School (to play along, just head over to Lisa Somerville's Blog) and my sketch is from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club (you can find the sketch on Kim's blog.) My image is from the My Favorite Things a' la modes - You Rule set. She is colored up with Copic Markers (BG000, BG11, BG32, C1, E000, E00, E23, R11, and the Colorless Blender) and paper pieced with patterned paper from the Report Card collection from October Afternoon. My other patterned papers include A*Muse Gingham and the notebook piece is from My Mind's Eye. I used some machine stitching, a heart made with the MFT Hearts-a-Plenty Die-namics, the scallop strip was made with the MFT Simply Scallops Die-namics, and the embossed circle was made with the Sunflower Rosette CutUps from The Cat's Pajamas. I added a Papertrey Ink button with some of my new twine from the Paper Source to complete my card.

The Cat's Pajamas Meets Blogger's Challenge!

Good Morning Friends and Happy Friday! Today's card combines two of my favorite weekly challenges. This week's Blogger's Challenge is to use the colors purple, green, and brown, (just head over to Lisa's Blog if you'd like to play along), and this week's TCP Tuesday Challenge is a sketch challenge, so I combined the two. If you'd like to play with the TCP sketch, you'll find all of the details on Alma's Blog. When I realized that I used the same TCP set that Leigh O'Brien used on her beautiful card for the sketch, I decided to turn the sketch around to give it a little bit of a different look! This delightful rabbit is from the TCP Kick Some Grass set. I colored him up with Copic Markers (E01, E11, E13, R11, R20, R22, V12, V15, YG11, YG13) and then I fussy cut him out. The sentiment is from the TCP A Cuppa set. The purple and green patterned paper is from Doodlebug Designs. The lime-y green polka dotted paper is as well, and the purple card stock (embossed in the 'Bug with the Seeing Spots folder) is from Bazzill. My other accents include the TCP Icing CutUps (turned around to get these wonderful scallops), the TCP Flower Button CutUps, and some Honeydew Baker's Twine. I also added Star Dust Stickles to the stamped flowers to give them a little bit of sparkle.

Two for One!

Happy Saturday Friends! The weekend is here and it is a gorgeous day in New England! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? Even though it is lovely out, Cinderella needs to clean the castle, so those are my plans for today...lol! I did want to take a few minutes from cleaning to share two creations with you though.

First up, my contribution to this week's TCP Tuesday Challenge. The theme is transportation. My three little penguin friends are traveling by teacup...lol! This was such a fun card to create. The sketch is from Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. I used the Ship Happens set from The Cat's Pajamas and a few Copic Markers (BG11, B18, C1, C3, E40, YR12, YR15, and the Colorless Blender) to match my papers from My Mind's Eye. The other accents include the Cloud Border CutUps and the Icing CutUps (turned it for the orange scallops), TCP Seam Binding and Divine Twine, a black Papertrey Ink button, some machine stitching, and the waves were made with the Die-namics Jumbo Scallop Die from MFT.

My other creation is for the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. As soon as I saw the sketch, I knew that I would be able to use one of those fancy-shmancy mini Bingo cards that I've had in my stash. DH and I just celebrated our wedding anniversary, so I went with a "LOVE" card. I'll keep it handy for one of those days that I'm feeling really romantic...lol! The Pure Innocence girl is from the MFT Love You With All My Heart set. She is colored up with Copic Markers (E000, E00, E01, R11, E23, E27, RV21, RV23) and paper pieced with a houndstooth scrap. My accents for this card include the Simply Scallops Die-namics, the Pretty Posies Die-namics, some more machine stitching, and another Papertrey Ink button with some Black Licorice Divine Twine.

Embossing!

Happy Friday Friends! Where did the week go? Friday snuck right up on me! Did you have a wonderful week? Things were quiet here, but fun. My card for today is for this week's Blogger's Challenge...embossing. If you'd like to play along in this week's challenge, just click here for the link.

I started my simple creation off by placing part of a white card stock layer in the Textile Texture embossing folder and running it through my Cuttlebug. Then a scored a couple of lines to wrap some Certainly Celery Taffeta ribbon in between. Next, I added a button and some Honeydew Baker's Twine to the button. I finished it off with a sentiment from the My Favorite Things More Essential Sentiments set.

Here is a peek at the inside too. I did a little bit more embossing and I added another sentiment from the same MFT set.

My Favorite Things Monday!

Happy Monday Friends! Did you have a wonderful weekend? We had a quiet one and I love it that way! I have a couple of MFT cards to share with you today. The first one is perfect for the rainy Monday that we are having here in New England.

For this week's MFT sketch, I used the My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Umbrella Girl. She is colored up with Copic Markers (BG000, E000, E00, E01, E23, E27, E42, R11, R83, R85, YG11, YG13, and the Colorless Blender) and I paper pieced her umbrella and boots. If you would like to see the original sketch and play along with the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club, just head over to the MFT blog here. The patterned papers are from The Girls' Paperie and I used Stampin' Up Rose Red card stock and Papertrey Ink Kraft card stock for the accents. The sentiment was made with the MFT Notched Tag Die-namics set. I also used the Die-namics Open Scallop Edge die. The main panel was embossed with the Cuttlebug Seeing Spots Embossing Folder. I added some Seam Binding, Baker's Twine, and some machine stitching to finish this card up.

For this card, I used an older sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. I've had this stamp for awhile now and it was time for this little cutie to meet some ink! She is from the Pure Innocence Rose set and I used Copic Markers to color her up (B00, B12, BG000, E000, E00, E01, E23, E27, R11, R32, R35, RV14, YG13, YG61, YG63, and the Colorless Blender). I've been using lots of patterned papers from The Girls' Paperie lately, and I included them on this card too. The card base and die cuts were made with Papertrey Ink Kraft card stock. I included the Dizzy Doily Die-namics and the Die-namics Double Scallop Border die (it seems to be out of stock at the moment). Some taffeta ribbon and a strip of faux stitching completes this card. A Sketch For You To Try!

Happy Sunday Friends! I hope that you are having a great weekend!

The heat is starting to let up in New England. In fact, it has rained here all morning, but that is just fine with me! I end up with a little bit more stamping time when it rains, so I'm happy.

My niece will be starting high school in the fall. (How on earth did that happen?!?!? It seems like she was just in Kindergarten!) Her birthday is next month. I thought that this new a la mode girl would be perfect for her. I also thought that this image would work wonderfully with Jen Del Muro's July Sketch For You To Try.

My image and sentiment are from the My Favorite Things You Are Unrepeatable set. This sweet growing up girl is colored up with Copic Markers (BG11, BG13, C0, C1, E000, E00, E23, E25, R11, RV11, RV34, YG03, YG13, YG25, YG63, and the Colorless Blender) and then cut out. She is popped up with foam squares and then layered onto some papers from the Lime Twist collection from My Mind's Eye. The buttons were made with The Cat's Pajamas Button CutUps and I used some matching "Happy" twine from MME to tie everything together. A little machine stitching in the right corner finishes this one off.

Right At Home Scrapbooking Store Creations!

Hello Friends! I have a little project and some cards that I made for Right at Home Scrapbooking store. This month, I used some wonderful papers from Jillibean Soup and this fun set called Sweet Celebration Birthday from Unity Stamp Company. I also used lots of Die-namics from My Favorite Things. My first little project is a birthday bag. You can find the directions for this bag right here on Splitcoaststampers. For the bottom of the bag, I used the MFT Die-namics Double Scallop Border die. This wonderful cake is colored up with Copic Markers (R29, RV11, Y11, and YR12) and then layered onto a die cut shape made with the MFT Die-namics Textile Rectangle die.

This card card uses this sweet little cupcake found in the Unity set and some more Jillibean Soup papers. I also used some Kraft card stock and some wonderful cream colored seam binding. Lisa has some at the store and it is just heavenly to work with! My little tag was made with the new MFT Die-namics Notched Tag die. This was a great way to add the sentiment to the card.

Earlier this month, I posted a little sewing tutorial and showed a finished flowered panel. I actually made two panels. I used the smaller one on this card and the larger panel on the card below. I paper pieced this giant cupcake and watercolored the icing. The layout comes from an older sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. I added lots MFT Die-namics to this card too. This time around, I used the Dizzy Doily Die-namics and the Little Open Scallop Strip Die-namics. Again, I added the Notched Tag die and I used the sweet little heart and sentiment that comes along with the set.

My last card uses a sentiment from the same Unity set and some more Jillibean Soup papers. This layout is also an older MFT sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. I had a ball with some more MFT Die-namics. For this card, I used the Die-namics Layered Label Die, the Die-namics Simply Scallops die, and the blossom was made with the Die-namics Pretty Posies die. Happy Friday Friends! We've hit triple digits on the thermometer here in New England!! I hope that you are staying cool! For today's card, I've combined a few of my favorite challenges. This week's Blogger's Challenge theme is summertime. We love to go bicycling as a family in the summer, so I knew that this new TCP set (Wheel Love) would be perfect for this challenge. Of course, it's not our favorite thing to do when it's 103 degrees outside...lol! You can find all of the details to play along with the Blogger's Challenge over on Lisa's blog. The sketch for this one is from Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch. You can find the sketch and all of the details to play along on Karen's blog. To color up this sweet bicycling bunny, I used Copic Markers (C1, C3, E40, R22, R24, YG13, YG17, YR15, YR16, and the Colorless Blender) to match the colors for this week's TCP Tuesday Challenge. This week's colors are Watermelon Red, Pumpkin Orange, and Grass Green. If you'd like to join this challenge, just head over to Alma's blog. The patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye and the buttons are from Papertrey Ink. I also used the Cloud Border CutUps from TCP and the Fresh Cut Grass Die-namics and the Open Scallop Edge Die-namics from MFT. I added a little bit of machine sewing to finish this off. Good Morning Friends! Hope that you are all well. I missed the sketch last week from My Favorite Things because I was still sick with a crazy summer cold. It was a great sketch, so I wanted to give it a try. You can find the original here on the MFT blog. I heard from an old friend last week. It was so wonderful to catch up with her and I want to make sure that we stay in touch so I made a card to send to her. I started off with this delightful girl and sentiment from the MFT a la modes - Miss You a Latte set. She is colored up with Copic Markers (B41, B45, BG000, E000, E00, E31, E33, R11, R81, R83, Y26, YG13, YG63, and Colorless Blender.) The patterned papers are from The Girls' Paperie and the card stock is Pink Pirouette. My other accents include the MFT Simply Scallops Die-namics, some Papertrey Ink buttons with some Honeydew Baker's Twine, and I used Classic and Scallop Nesties for the ovals. Good Evening Friends! I hope that you had a happy Monday. We're having a heat wave here in New England, so I made sure to sit by the air conditioner and get some coloring done. Here is my card for the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find all of the details here. I used the a' la modes - Time to Celebrate set for the birthday girl and sentiment. She is colored up with Copic Markers (C1, E000, E00, E23, E40, R11, R81, R83, Y35, YR30, YR31, and the Colorless Blender.) The sentiment is stamped on the MFT Die-namics Framed Greetings Die and then tucked behind the middle layer. I also added a blossom made with the My Favorite Things Pretty Posies Die-namics, a Papertrey Ink button, and some Baker's Twine. All of the patterned papers are from The Girls' Paperie and they are layered onto Stampin' Up's Pretty in Pink card stock. Some machine stitching finishes off this one. Fly Me to the Moon...

Let me play among the stars. Let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars. Now that you have one of my favorite songs stuck in your head, I'll let you in on a little something about myself. I simply LOVE music from Frank Sinatra! I've been a big fan since I was a little girl. I LOVE Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. too! The sentiment was reason enough to grab this new TCP set, but I LOVE the bunny in the hot air balloon too! How fun! You can find this set from The Cat's Pajamas right here. The TCP Tuesday Challenge this week is to watercolor. It has been quite a while since I've done that, but I thought that I'd give it a whirl! I used Creamy Caramel and Pixie Pink ink on the bunny and the balloon's basket is watercolored with Chocolate Chip. The little presents and strings on the balloon basket are rather tiny, so I used Copic Markers (BG11, C1, YR21) to color them in. All of the patterned papers are from the Fly A Kite collection from October Afternoon. I also used some Papertrey Ink Kraft card stock and some machine stitching. For the clouds, I used the new TCP Cloud Border CutUps. I simply cut the clouds apart after I ran them through the Cuttlebug with some white felt. The My Favorite Things Jumbo Ric Rac Die-namics was used on the bottom of the card with a button accent that I made with the TCP Flower Buttons CutUps and some Lemon Divine Twine.

Blogger's Challenge Sketch!

Happy Friday Friends! I'm sorry that my posts have been so sporatic lately. My summer cold kicked me to the curb!! I have a lot of commenting to catch up on, but I'm feeling so much better. I can't wait to see what everyone has been up to lately!

Today's card is for this week's Blogger's Challenge. Lisa gave us this fantastic sketch to work with. Of course, I had to change the panels around...lol! When I stamped my sentiment the first time, it turned out terribly, so I flipped things around to hide my mistake. If you'd like to play along with the sketch, you can find all of the details here.

I picked up this new Inky Antics set at Right at Home Scrapbooking store last night. I was there for Joanne Basile's My Favorite Things class and I treated myself to a couple of the new TCP CutUps, this new IA set, and a few new Copic Markers. This sweet little bird is colored up with BG10, BG53, E23, R27, R29, R59, YR16, YR30, and the Colorless Blender. The blue background paper is from The Girls' Paperie and the red polka dotted paper is from Memory Box. I used Papertrey Ink Kraft as well. The circles were made with the Classic Circle and Lacey Circle Nesties. I finished things off with a pearl flourish and some machine stitching.

Sewing Tutorial for Right at Home Scrapbooking!

Happy Monday Friends! I hope that you are doing well and enjoying a beautiful summer. The Right at Home Scrapbooking Design Team members are taking turns each month and providing crafty tutorials. This month, it's my turn. While I am certainly not a sewing expert, I LOVE to sew on my cards. Here are a few tips if you'd like to give sewing on paper a try. I find that a zig zag stitch is the most forgiving so that is what I'm going to show today. I start off by lining up the piece of paper that I want to stitch over with the middle opening of the presser foot of the sewing machine.

After I have sewed down the side of the piece and I reach the corner, I stop the needle on the right side of the zig zag.

Then I raise the needle by turning the sewing machine wheel.

With the needle raised, I lift the presser foot and turn the paper. Next, I line the paper's edge up with the middle of the presser foot and then lower the presser foot so that I can continue sewing.

This is how the corner will turn out.

After I have sewed on all four sides of the piece, I end up back where I began. This is where I end up with the string octopus...lol! Some strings come from behind the piece, and some come from front of the piece. They are not so cute or so pretty...lol!

I keep this handy dandy tool (needle threader) right on top of my sewing machine. It is perfect for taking care of all of the left over strings.

Coming from the back of the piece, I push the needle threader through one of the sewing holes.

Whatever strings are remaining on the front of the piece, I put through the eye of the needle threader and then pull them to the back where I can tie them all together.

Now all four corners look nice and neat like this!

Here is a shot of all of the strings tied together on the back layer. I use a piece of scotch tape to hold them down. (I learned that little trick from Jody Morrow's blog.)

Now I have a layer with zig zag stitches on all four sides.

Happy 4th of July! I was happy to squeeze in a little bit of stamping time this afternoon and create a card for this week's sketch from The Cat's Pajamas. This time around, I pulled out this sweet bunny from the TCP Joyride set and colored him up with Copic Markers (C0, C1, C3, C5, C7, E31, E33, R27, R29, Y11, Y21, Y35 and the Colorless Blender.) All of the patterned papers are from the Thrift Shop collection from October Afternoon. I added some faux stitching to the sentiment (it is from the TCP Field of Pinwheels set) and some wide grosgrain ribbon for the vertical piece. Thanks so much for visiting with me! Happy Sunday Friends! Yesterday, I was telling you all that I've been away and I've missed some of my favorite challenges. So today, in between coughing and taking care of my runny nose, I decided to roll a few of my favorite challenges into one card. This past Friday's Blogger's Challenge was to use red, white, and blue (I went with aqua blue on this one) and the week before that, the BC challenge was "winged things." I thought that this MFT Pure Innocence cutie would work perfectly. To play along with this week's Blogger's Challenge, just click here. We've Been On Holiday!!

Hello Friends! Can you guess why I haven't been around lately? My family and I have just returned from Disney World! We had a spectacular time! That is why I haven't been posting anything crafty for awhile. Between finishing school and getting everything ready for our trip, I haven't had any extra time, and now I'm sick with a summer cold...ugh! I've missed being a part of all of my favorite weekly challenges. I am hoping that I feel better tomorrow and can squeeze in some card making time. Hello Friends! It's another beautiful day here in New England! I hope that it is lovely in your neck of the woods. My card today is for the sketch challenge from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. I turned the sketch and made a card for one of my co-workers. I used the Cheers a' la modes from MFT. She is colored up with Copic Markers (BG000, C7, C9, E000, E00, R30, E40, Y32, YR21, and YR24.) Her glass of bubbly is accented with Star Dust Stickles. I used So Saffron and Basic Black card stock and the patterned papers are from the Circa 1934 collection from Cosmo Cricket. My other accents include the MFT Die-namics Decorative Doily Duo (out of stock at the moment), the MFT Simply Scallops Die-namics with a few rhinestones, and the MFT Pretty Posies Die-namics with a Papertrey Ink button and some craft thread. Happy Sunday Friends! It is a beautiful day here in New England! Mother Nature really gave all of the Dads out there a very Happy Father's Day! I hope that you are having a lovely day too. I used this week's TCP Tuesday challenge for the colors for DH's Father's Day card (Yes, he is manly enough to handle Cotton Candy pink on his card...lol!) Here's a peek at the colors...

And here is what I came up with. I am having a love affair with Big Bear lately and he works perfectly with Jen's Sketch For You To Try. The only Copic Markers that I used today are C3 and the Colorless Blender. The red polka dotted paper and the aqua print in the circle are from Papertrey Ink. I also used their Pure Poppy and Aqua Mist card stock. The pink patterned paper is from Melissa Frances. The large doily was made with MFT's Dainty Doily Die-namics Die and the buttons were created with the TCP Buttons CutUps and some of their Divine Twine.

A Special My Favorite Things Sketch!

Hello Friends! My Favorite Things is the sponsor for this week's sketch over at Card Positioning Systems. My co-worker needs a card for her niece's recent graduation. I loved all of the panels in the sketch and thought that this Pure Innocence girl would work perfectly. I layered many different reds to get the shading and color just right. I embossed the white panels with my Cuttlebug and then I added a few pearl accents. The organdy ribbon is from Michaels. A Masculine Blogger's Challenge

Happy Friday Friends! We have a masculine challenge today for this week's Blogger's Challenge, and with Father's Day just around the corner, it couldn't have come at a better time. I started off with Jen Del Muro's June Sketch For You To Try and I pulled out lots of older supplies for this one. First of all, the main image is from a 2001 Stampin' Up set called Wonderful Woodcuts! It's an old set, but a great one! I colored it up with Copic Markers (B0000, B00, B12, B14, C1, E000, E01, E11, E33, R29, R59, YG13, YG63, Y32, and Y35.) It is mounted onto a layer of Night of Navy and then I tore the edges of a Creamy Caramel layer and stamped the speckles from the Itty Bitty Backgrounds set (another SU oldie, but goodie). The polka dotted panel is from Memory box and YES, that is a square of MAGIC MESH!!! Do you remember Magic Mesh? I told you that I pulled out a lot older supplies...lol! I did some machine sewing around the main layer and then I added a button and some Blueberry Divine Twine from The Cat's Pajamas. Thanks so much for visiting with me today. My Favorite Things Meets The Cat's Pajama's

Happy Monday Friends! I hope that your start to the work week was a great one! I have two cards to share with you today. They are for two of my favorite weekly challenges. The first card up is for the sketch for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find all of the details to play along here. I have had this little Pure Innocence cutie since her April release and decided that it was high time that she be introduced to some ink! She is from the MFT Crazy for Daisies set and she's colored up with Copic Markers (B00, B12, B14, BG000, C1, E000, E00, E01, E11, E25, E29, R20, Y32, Y35, YG13, YG63, and the Colorless Blender.) The patterned paper is from Sweetwater and I have had it FOREVER! I thought that it was time to finally put it to good use. It is accented with black card stock layers. I also did some machine stitching and I added some May Arts ribbon with a PTI button and some TCP Divine Twine. The bottom is finished off with the MFT Die-namics Double Scallop Border.

My next card is for the TCP Tuesday Challenge and this week, we need to use fabric. You can find all of the details right here. I used Jen Del Muro's June Sketch For You To Try for my layout. I stamped Big Bear on an old gingham shirt with Memento Rich Cocoa ink. Then I cut him out. I also stamped him onto a sheet of card stock. I colored up his ears, nose area, and feet pads with E40 and then cut those out and glued them to the shirt fabric. He is layered onto some Jillibean Soup papers and the MFT Die-namics Dainty Doily Die is made from Chocolate Chip card stock. The sentiment is from TCP's Like You A Latte set. I used some more of the shirt and a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock for the button accent that I made with the TCP Button CutUps. Some Baker's Twine and a touch of faux stitching finish this one off.

I'd like to leave you this evening with a special photograph. On Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting some "Stamping Royalty". My delightful friend, Linda Monroe and I headed into Boston to become "Copic Certified". The class was taught by two very lovely and talented ladies...Lori Craig and Debbie Olson! I was lucky enough to be sitting next to the very sweet and talented Joanne Basile! What a FABULOUS day!! Just in case you were wondering...Linda is the one with the pretty purple glasses. Hello Friends! I have today's Blogger's Challenge ready for you. In fact, I've had it ready for you all day, but our computer is acting up. I'm going to keep this short and sweet for tonight because I need to get up bright and early tomorrow for my Copic Certification class with Lori Craig!!! Debbie Olson will be there too!!! I also used my Lacey Circle Nesties and the Small Open Scallop Die-namics from My Favorite Things. To finish off my card, I added an Aqua Mist button with some craft thread.

Right At Home Scrapbooking Store Creations!

Hello Friends! We are having a heat wave here in New England and many dangerous thunder storms. In fact, my town had a two hour delay from school today because of all of the storm damage! Mother Nature has been quite busy in my area! I have a few cards and a little project to share with you today. This month, Lisa (from Right at Home Scrapbooking store in North Attleboro, MA) gave me some fun products from her store to play with. All of the patterned papers that I used are from the Odds and Ends collection from Cosmo Cricket. The images and sentiments are from the Heart Times set from Unity Stamp Company. Ready for the first card? Here it is...

I stamped up this fun bandaid image a few times and then colored it up with Copic Markers (E31, E40, G0000, and G12.) I did a little bit of machine stitching around the main panel and I made a flag for the sentiment. A Basic Grey button with some Baker's Twine dress it right up.

In fact, I liked the image so much that I decided to use it again and alter a little bandaid tin that I had in my stash. This time I colored up the bandaid with E31, E40, YG25, and YG93.

My next card uses my favorite print from this paper collection. I simply love the flowers...so pretty! I used the My Favorite Things stamp sketch for this one. It was great way to highlight these papers and this image. I colored up the image with BG000, BG11, BG72, C3, E40, R27, R29, and R59.

My last card to share has my favorite image from this set. Isn't that a darling umbrella? I used my Copic Markers (BG000, BG11, BG72, C3, R27, R29, R59) for this one too. This time around, I used Jen Del Muro's June Sketch For You To Try, some more of these pretty Cosmo Cricket papers, and more machine stitching.

I Just Made It!!

I was just over at my friend Linda's blog where she posted her card for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. I ran out of time this weekend and never got around to doing the sketch. This is what I just made in the last hour...ugh! I started off with my favorite Pure Innocence girl from the Bunch of Blooms set from MFT. She is colored up with Copic Markers (BG000, BG11, BG72, E000, E00, E25, E27,R27, R29, R30, R59, YG93, and YG95.) All of these beautiful papers are from Cosmo Cricket. I sewed the main layer to a piece of Riding Hood Red card stock and I layered that onto a PTI Kraft card base. The other accents include the Lacey Circle and Classic Circle Nestabilities, the MFT Simply Scallops Die-namics, some aqua colored twill, a sweet little button and some cream colored craft thread. Happy Friday Friends! How was your week? Things are busy here with school winding down, but that is a GREAT kind of busy! This week's Blogger's Challenge is a pet theme. I have always loved hedgehogs and would like one for a pet. One of the teachers at school has one and he's just delightful. So, I thought that this image would be perfect for today's challenge. This little guy is from the Penny Black "Paint the Town" set, and he is colored up with Copic Markers (BG000, BG11, BG13, E000, E33, E35, E50, R22, R24, R30, YG11, YG13, Y26, YR31, and the Colorless Blender). All of the patterned papers are from the Lime Twist collection from My Mind's Eye. I used SU's Chocolate Chip and Papertrey Ink's Aqua Mist card stock for my card stock layers. The scallop border was made with the My Favorite Things Die-namics Double Scallop Border die. I did some stitching around all of my layers before I glued everything down. Three Penguins and a Bear!

Hello Friends! I hope that you enjoyed your weekend. We went to Cape Cod for the long weekend and it was simply wonderful. Then I came home and realized that if I was going to participate in my favorite weekly challenges, then I was going to need to get stampin!. This week's TCP challenge is a sketch. You can find the sketch and all of the details to play along too over on Alma's blog. I paired my image and sentiment from the TCP Good Friends set with some Stella and Rose papers. This fun little trio is colored up with Copic Markers (BG000, C3, E13, E15, E17, R29, Y32, YR16, YR18 and the Colorless Blender) and I paper pieced the rug with some more My Mind's Eye papers. I also used Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black card stock. The Pumpkin Pie layer is embossed with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder. Some black twill and a Papertrey Ink button with a touch of Baker's Twine complete my card.

One challenge down and two more to go! This week's Blogger's Challenge is called, "Make it Shimmer" and I always LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the sketches that the Ladies over at MFT come up with each week for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. So, I decided to combine the two challenges and this is what I came up with.

I used some more Stella and Rose papers from My Mind's Eye. This time around, I used Papertrey Ink Kraft for my card stock layers. My friend, Fred Bear, is also colored up with Copic Markers (E30, E31, E33, YG13, YG17, YR16 and YR18) and I used Star Dust Stickles on the button, the butterflies, and the blossom for my shimmer. Fred is from the Fred Bear and the Butterfly set from My Favorite Things. I also used the Simply Scallops Die-namics from MFT. Then, I added lots of sewing and finished this one off with some sparkly twill from Taylored Expressions. Happily, I was able to fit all of the stamping in that I wanted to today. Swinging By To Say...

Happy Birthday! At least that's what the inside of my card says! This one is for my nephew. He's celebrating his birthday at the end of the week, so I wanted to get his card ready ahead of time. I used Sketch #20 from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find all of the details and the sketch here. My layers are little bit different, but for the most part, I stayed pretty close to the sketch layout. I started off with this sweet little guy and his furry friend from the MFT Pure Innocence - Tree Swing set. The sentiment is from the same set too. I just left off the "Hi" part. The images are colored up with Copic Markers (BG72, BG75, E000, E00, E01, E15, E17, E25, E29, E40, E44, YG63, YG67, YR14, YR15, and the Colorless Blender). All of my patterned papers are from the True Blue collection from My Mind's Eye. I used lots of stitching and Chocolate Chip card stock layers. Good Morning Friends! How is your weekend going? It has been quiet around here for the most part. Yesterday, we went to one of the local nurseries to get some more flowers and plants for our yard. Then I had the chance to go shopping with my Mom. It was a fun day! I had some extra time in the evening so I decided to give this week's TCP Challenge a try! This time around, we are to use stamps from The Cat's Pajamas with flowers! I can't believe that this is the only TCP stamp that I own with a flower...one itty, bitty, flower!! All of the patterned papers are from the Lime Twist collection from My Mind's Eye. The card stock is from The Paper Source. This color is Beet and I thought that it was a great match. I ran the layer through my 'bug with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder. My main image and sentiment are from the Ewe Complete Me set from The Cat's Pajamas. I used my Copic Markers to color up the image (C1, C3, RV17, V05, and YG13) and Rich Razzleberry ink for the sentiment. I also used Jen Del Muro's May Sketch For You To Try for my layout. Blogger's Challenge...Inspiration!

Happy Friday Friends! What a long week! We will be in school for most of the month of June so I have a feeling that the remainder of the weeks are all going to feel quite long! Let's hope not though! My card today is for this week's Blogger's Challenge. Lisa Somerville has given us some inspiration to come up with our designs this week. With summer just around the corner, she picked out some wonderful pictures to inspire us. If you would like to play along, just add your link to the bottom of this post. I would love to see what you come up with too!

Here is my card. My favorite nautical set in my collection is Stampin' Up's Along the Shore (retired). I paired that up with the Happy Birthday sentiment from the retired Warmest Regards set. The main image is stamped on a scrap of Confetti paper and it is accented with Sahara Sand and Basic Black card stock and ink. I also added one of my newest My Favorite Things Die-namics. This one is called the Stacked Open Scallops Die-namics. (It seems to be out of stock at the moment, but I'm sure Kim will have it back in very soon.) I added a few mini pearls to each scallop to dress it up a little bit. Very simple card, but sometimes that is the best kind.

Happy Monday Friends! It has been raining here for two days and the rest of the week looks about the same. Hence the not so wonderful photograph...lol! This is my attempt at Sketch #19 from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find the sketch and all of the details to play along on Kim's MFT Blog. I started off with my furry friend...Fred Bear. He is colored up with Copic Markers (BG72, BG75, E33, E35, YR16, and YR18). All of the patterned papers are from the Stella and Rose collection from My Mind's Eye and they are layered with Chocolate Chip. My other accents include the Die-namics Hearts a Plenty die and the Die-namics Fishtail Banner die. The button and Baker's Twine are from Papertrey Ink. I thought that Fred looked a little bit like he was making a wish with his eyes shut and with his sweet bouquet of daisies. That is where I came up with the word for my banner. I'm not certain who will receive this card, but with the word wish, I can use it for birthday wishes or even get well wishes. I used the Coolvetica Alphabet set from The Cat's Pajamas for the letters on the Fishtail Banner. This is the first time that I've used a banner on a card, but it won't be the last! Happy Friday Friends! I hope that you had a good week! I'm thrilled that Friday is here and now we can have a couple days of rest. I combined two challenges for today's creation. This week's Blogger's Challenge is a fun sketch from Lisa Somerville. You can find the sketch and all of the details to play along here on Lisa's blog. This week's TCP Tuesday challenge is a color challenge. You can find all of the details over on Alma's TCP Blog. Here is a peek at the color combination...Gray?? Oh my! This was a HUGE challenge for me! I couldn't find a single sheet of patterned paper with any gray of any kind on it in my stash! Mind you, I have lots of patterned paper! I couldn't find any gray buttons in my stash either...ugh! What's a girl to do? Well, with the help of my Copic Markers (or should I say marker...C3 to be exact) and a sheet of gray Core'dinations card stock, this is what I came up with.

The main image is from the Big Bear set from The Cat's Pajamas. The sentiment is from their Field of Pinwheels set. I made the flag with Laura Pryor's Sentiment Flag Die. The gray scallops were made with The Cat's Pajamas Icing CutUps. The circles follow along with Lisa's sketch and they were made with different sized Nesties. The plaid patterned paper is from the Campfire collection from October Afternoon and the green card stock is Papertrey Ink's Simply Chartreuse. It was the closest thing to Spring Moss that I had. I added lots of stitching, some ribbon, and a Simply Chartreuse button with a little bit of Baker's Twine (it had a touch of gray...yippee!) to finish this one off. Happy Monday Friends! I hope that you enjoyed your weekend. If you dropped by yesterday, then you knew that I'd be back today with something crafty. After school, I finished up my card for Sketch #18 from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find the sketch and all of the details to play along right here. I started off with Fred Bear and the Butterfly and I colored him up with Copic Markers (E30, E31, E33, Y21, Y32, YG13, YG17, and YR18.) I love my MFT a la modes and Pure Innocence girls, but Fred Bear is so sweet too. He is layered onto some Jillibean Soup papers and the MFT Die-namics Dainty Doily Die. In fact, all of the patterned papers that I used today are from Jillibean Soup. My other accents include some Making Memories brads and some sewing machine stitching. Short and sweet for today! Hello Friends! We spent the day in Boston. The weather was wonderful and it was so nice to get away together as a family. After dinner, I headed up to my Stamping Room and decided that it was a good time to get my card completed for the TCP Tuesday Challenge. You can find all of the details here on Alma's Blog. This week's challenge is to use buttons. As you can see, I didn't get too creative, but I'm happy with how my card turned out. I've had this Ewe Complete Me set from The Cat's Pajamas for quite some time now, and today was a great day to use it. This card is for my sweet husband. I think that he will appreciate it. He did such a wonderful job planning today's adventure into the big city, so I thought that I'd slip this one into his brief case as a little surprise. The main image is colored up with a few Copic Markers (BG01, BG02, C1, C3, R37, R59, YG17, and the Colorless Blender.) The Pure Poppy card stock and buttons, the banner die, and the Beautiful Blooms patterned paper are all from Papertrey Ink and the die that the sheep are layered onto is the new My Favorite Things Decorative Doily Duo Die-namic. The link is here. I found this new Outlines stamp the last time I stopped by my LSS and I just had to buy it! It was so much fun to color up with my Copic Markers (B02, B12, BG000, G24, R81, R83, V12, V15, Y21, YR12, and YR21). The main image is mounted onto a layer of rose colored card stock. The yellow patterned paper is from Memory Box. I added some stitching, some Baker's Twine, and a rose colored button to finish it off. Thank you for visiting with me! To My Favorite Teacher!

Happy Sunday Friends! It was a beautiful day here in New England. In fact, the whole weekend was lovely! We had a lot going on, but I still managed to squeeze some crafting time in. It is Teacher Appreciation Week at our school. To celebrate the occasion, my little guy always brings his teacher a bouquet of flowers, some chocolate, and a handmade card, of course. I combined the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club with this month's My Favorite Things Guest Designer Contest. The theme for the contest is "Blue Jeans and Bling". This sweet a la mode girl and sentiment are from the My Favorite Things You Rule set. She is colored up with Copic Markers (E000, E01, R20, YG11, YG13, YR21, E99, B95, B97, and B99). The denim flower blossoms were made with the MFT Die-namics Flower Trio and Leaf Trio. I added a rhinestone to the center. The leaf was cut out with some of the same gingham paper that I used on the vertical panel from the sketch. The two horizontal strips were also cut from denim. The flowered paper is from October Afternoon and the ledger paper is from My Mind's Eye. I added stitching around all of the patterned paper layers and they are layered onto some Night of Navy. One of the reasons that I love to participate in the My Favorite Things challenges is that I always find myself trying something new. I have always wanted to try these rhinestone flourishes that everyone seems to be using, and if "bling" wasn't part of this month's challenge, I probably wouldn't have given them a try! Hello again! This is my second post for today. If you would like to sneak a peek at my stamping space at my home, just scroll down to my other post from today. Here are the details for this creation. I combined two of the challenges from The Cat's Pajamas and this is what I came up with. The sketch is from last week's challenge and you can find all of the details here if you would like to play along too, and the color combination is from the TCP challenge that you can find here. The image and sentiment are from the Field of Pinwheels set from The Cat's Pajamas. This little bunny is just too cute and I fell in love with him as soon as I saw him in the last TCP release. I used a few Copic Markers to color him up (BG11, Y11, and YR16). All of these patterned papers are from the Summer Days pack from Echo Park and they are layered onto Stampin' Up's Pumpkin Pie. My Stamping Space!

Hello Friends! Frances, our wonderful Design Team Coordinator for the Right at Home Scrapbooking store, thought that it would be fun for some of us to share our crafty spaces. So today, it's my turn to share. This is the view as you walk into the room. Last year, my husband built this beautiful desk for me. It is similar to one that I had seen at a Pottery Barn store. It has a huge drawer that pulls out. I keep my large Memento ink pads, Baker's Twine, Stamp-a-ma-Jig, Scor-Tape, and a few other odds and ends inside. Everything is right where I need it. On the top of the desk is everything else that I use each time I sit down to work. My tray for neutral scraps, my Making Memories Carousel (filled with crafting necessities), and my OTT light are on the left of the desk. The blue polka-dotted bowl (from Target) houses all of my Die-namics, CutUps, and PTI dies. My Janome Sew Mini sits on the front part of the desk and I just pull the chair over from the computer desk when I need to sew something. The bucket (also from Target) filled with Copic Markers is within arms reach as well as my paper cutter. Then I do most of my work on my Scor-Mat.

This cabinet (from the Bathroom section of Target) houses my rolls of ribbon (in the purple bin...a gift from my parents) and most of my stamps. You can see the Papertrey Ink sets on the top left. Then the pink cardboard bins (from Target...Yes, I LOVE that store...lol) are filled with all of my stamps from My Favorite Things, The Cat's Pajama's, Stampavie, and Penny Black. I have a few Lockhart stamps placed here and there on the shelf and then a few cards and projects set out for inspiration.

These storage units (from Michaels) are just behind the desk and they house all of my patterned papers, my large colored ink pads, my ribbon scraps (large Mason jar), some more projects for inspiration, and my jars of Papertrey Ink buttons. The large cupcake cookie jar (a Christmas gift from my darling husband) holds all of my mini ink pads (Memento Dew Drops, Colorbox Cat's Eyes, etc.) The tin bucket (you guessed it...from Target) is filled with October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket paper pads. All of my other paper pads (mostly from My Mind's Eye) are on one of the top shelves.

This is one of the baskets that I keep on the floor next to the desk. I use it for paper scraps. Each color family has a file folder and when I need a particular color, I start here. I have a few for patterned papers too. These are separated by company. The other basket has file folders with the individual colors written on them. These folders hold full and half sheets.

Good Morning Friends! I'm running a little bit behind on some of my favorite Friday challenges. I've been trying to fight off a cold and I'm afraid that it has won! Thankfully, I'm not cooking for Easter Sunday. Hopefully, I'll be better to head back to school on Monday. I combined a few challenges on this card. This week's Blogger's Challenge is to use ribbon or lace. I pulled out this sweet Pure Innocence image from My Favorite Things. The image and sentiment are from the Don't Open Until set. I've had it in my collection for some time now, but I just haven't had the chance to use it. It was perfect for Jessie's Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge. I used the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club and then went from there. She is colored up with Copic Markers (BG10, BG11, BG32, E000, E00, E01, E35, E57, E59, G21, G24, R20, R29, and R59) and her dress is paper pieced. I used some October Afternoon patterned papers and some Papertrey Ink card stock. The button is also from PTI. I accented that with some cream craft thread. Some Hero Arts lace and a bit of stitching complete the from of my card. I stamped the rest of the sentiment on the inside of the card and I added a little bit more of the October Afternoon polka dots and I used the MFT Die-namics Little Open Scallop Strip to finish it off.

Right At Home Scrapbooking Store Creations!

Hello Friends! I have two more Springtime cards to share with you today. These cards were made with the Blossom Soup set from Unity Stamp Company. This is the wonderful set that Lisa from Right at Home Scrapbooking store gave me to showcase this month. The first card uses this beautiful butterfly image from the set. It is colored up with Copic Markers (V12, V15, V17, and the Colorless Blender) and then I cut it out and popped it up. I used some Bazzill patterned paper (Grandma's Feather Bed) and card stock.
My other card uses this darling basket and sentiment that are also part of the Blossom Soup set. The basket is colored up with Copic Markers (BG000, BV02, BV04, E31, E35, R35, RV29, Y32, and Y35) and accented the flowers with some pearls. Again, I used some more Grandma's Feather Bed paper and some Bazzill card stock. I added a little bit of stitching to finish it off. Thanks SO much for visiting with me today! Baby Love!

Happy Monday Friends! As I mentioned yesterday, I'm back today and this time around, I have something crafty to share that showcases my TCP stamps. The TCP Tuesday Challenge over on Alma's blog is to create something baby. I needed to get a little bit creative because I do not really have any baby stamps from TCP. I decided to use this new Honey Bear image and baby him up. He is colored up with Copic Markers (E11, E15, and E17) and then I paper pierced the little heart with a scrap of Echo Park paper. All of the other patterned papers are from Papertrey Ink. I also used the Icing CutUps die for the horizontal scallops and I layed the bear onto a Lacey Circle cut out with my Nesties. The sentiment was made with a combination of the Coolvetica Alphabet and I masked the word "Love" from one of the sentiments from the Honey Bear set. A lot of stitching and a PTI button with some Baker's Twine complete my card.

My Favorite Things Sketch!

Happy Sunday Friends! I had some extra stamping time today, so I thought that I'd give this week's sketch from My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club a try. You can find the original sketch and all of the details to play along too right here. I had a lot of fun with the My Favorite Things Die-namics dies on this one. On the front of my card, I used the Sunshine Die, the Sheltering Tree & Leaf Trio Die, and the Fresh Cut Grass Die. That created a fun little scene to showcase my Pure Innocence girl from the MFT set, My Basket of Eggs. She is colored up with Copic Markers (E000, E00, E11, RV10, E25, E27, E33, E35, R81, R83, R85, Y11, YR12, B21, G21, and V12) and paired with these wonderful Springtime Papers from Echo Park. The grass and leaves were made with some wool felt from MFT. Some stitching and a few layers of So Saffron card stock finish up the front of my card. Then I thought that because I didn't leave much room for a sentiment on the front of the card that I should finish off the inside of the card as well. I used some more of the same patterned papers and So Saffron card stock. I added the Little Open Scallop Die-namic and a bit more stitching.

Blogger's Challenge Sketch!

Happy Friday Friends! This week's Blogger's Challenge is a wonderful sketch from our leader Lisa Somerville. You can find the sketch and all of the details to play along right here on Lisa's blog. I changed things up a little bit, but all of Lisa's original elements are still there. This is definitely one of my favorite Pure Innocence stamps. It is from the Bunch of Blooms set from My Favorite Things stamps. She is colored up with Copic Markers (BG11, BG13, E000, E00, E11, E33, E37, RV10, R32, R35, YG93, and YG95) and then I fussy cut her out. All of these pretty papers are from the Stella and Rose collection from My Mind's Eye. They are layered with black card stock and then I added a lot of stitching. The gingham ribbon is from Michaels and I finished it off with a Papertrey Ink button and some baker's twine.

Happy Monday Friends! I have a quick post for you tonight using the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find all of the details and the sketch here. Because my sweet little Pure Innocence girl is looking off to the right, I thought that I should flip the sketch. The image and sentiment are from the You're So Tweet set from My Favorite Things. She is colored up with Copic Markers (BG000, BG10, BG13, BG18, E000, E00, E11, E33, E37, R20, RV29, and RV34) and her jumper is paper pieced. The card base is Papertrey Ink's Kraft. The main panel with the polka dots is from Bo Bunny, and these wonderful patterned papers are from the Chloe collection from Three Bugs In a Rug. I added some stitching around the main panel. The main image is cut out with the Classic Circle Nesties and then layered onto a Kraft piece that was made with the Lacey Circle Nesties. I finished the card off with some green seam binding. Springtime Inspiration and Jen's SFYTT!!

Happy Friday Morning Friends! Are you loving all of the Spring colors that are popping up all over the place? I actually saw a few crocuses and some daffodils peeking out yesterday when I went to get the mail! It's so nice to finally see some signs of Spring!! (We had a snow storm here last Friday and ended up missing the first two hours of school!!) My creations for today were all inspired by this wonderful bunch of tulips! Tulips are my favorite flower and these yellow ones were calling my name last week when I stopped by the local flower shop! I love their deep yellow and lime green color.

Lisa from Right at Home Scrapbooking Store gave me some wonderful goodies to play with this month. They are just perfect for Springtime paper crafting projects! All of the cards in this post were made with the Blossom Soup set from Unity Stamp Company and all of the papers are some new ones that Lisa has at the store. This is the Grandma's Feather Bed collection from Bazzill Basics Paper. I LOVE the colors in this line! So fun and Springy...just like my color inspiration! For this card, I used my new goodies along with some Copic Markers (B21,B23, BG000,Y32, Y35, YG13, YG25), the Spellbinder's Nestabilities Labels Fourteen set, this wonderful Gingham Ribbon from May Arts, a button from Basic Grey, a few Kaiser Craft Pearls and some Honey Dew twine.

For my next card, I used a different image from the Unity set. Look at all of those wonderful flower blossoms on this butterfly image...so sweet! I colored it up with Copic Markers (Y32, Y35, Y38) and layered it onto some Bazzill card stock that I cut out with the Classic Scalloped Rectangle Nestabilities die. Again I added a few pearls, a matching button, and some Honey Dew Twine.

As you can see from my last card, my tulips were still my color inspiration. This time around though, I used Jen Del Muro's April Sketch For You To Try for some inspiration too. You can find her sketch here. This sweet little blossom is part of the same stamp set. It's a single stamp and I just stamped it out three times (with a little help from my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, of course.) The main panel is cut out with the Classic Square Spellbinder's Nestabilities die and I used a little trick that Jodi Collins has perfected. Simply leave the Nestie with the piece that you just cut out and use a Copic Multi-Liner to trace the inside of the Nestie. For this card, I used some straight lines and a group of dots on each side of the square. Two more patterns from the Grandma's Feather Bed line, my Copic Markers (Y32, Y35, Y38, YG13, YG25), a few more Basic Grey buttons, some black card stock layers, and a spin through my sewing machine complete this card. Hope Your Birthday is Simply Wonderful!

It's that time again! With each new monthly release, My Favorite Things stamps has a Guest Designer Contest. (All of the details can be found here, if you'd like to play along too.) This month's theme is Shabby Chic! Well, if you've ever stopped by here before, then you know that I have never really done Shabby Chic before, but it's always good to try new things. So, feeling like a fish out of water, I gave it a try. Here are the results...

It was a great chance to use some of my new MFT things. When they released the Dizzy Doily Die-namic and Dizzy Border Die-namic, I knew that I NEEDED them! So here they are...the doily is in Pink Pirouette and the border is in Butter Cream. I layered the border onto a strip of pink that I did some stitching, distressing, and then dabbed on some Memento Desert Sand ink. In fact, there is a little bit of Desert Sand all of over this project. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye. Again, more sewing and distressing. The other layer is Papertrey Ink Kraft. The sentiment is from the MFT Polka Dotted Greetings Die-namics set. A little bit more sanding and Desert Sand ink shabby that right up. I'm not sure if pearls are part of a Shabby Chic creation, but I added them anyway. It made the card feel more like something that I usually design. My friend Linda gave me some of this Kraft colored Seam Binding/Ribbon. I thought that it would be the perfect addition. I also added a Pink Pirouette flower that I made with the Die-namics Rolled Rose Die. It's accented with some ribbon leaves and another pearl.

Good Friday Morning Everyone! I have a quick Blogger's Challenge post to share with you today. Our theme this week is Birds. This Papertrey Ink Tiny Treats: Birthday set was still out, so I decided to use the sweet little bird that is part of the set. This seems to be my favorite layout for this set. I'll have to come up with something else soon...lol! I used the PTI Mat Stack 5 on the Ridinghood Red Polka Dotted piece. The patterned paper is from October Afternoon. I also used PTI Pure Poppy card stock and buttons. To finish off the layers, I had a little bit of fun with my sewing machine. Happy Thursday Friends! I can't believe that it's only Thursday and I already have yesterday's My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch done...lol! That almost never happens! She's a principal at another school and has just been awarded a special honor so this sweet, little Pure Innocence girl fit the bill. She is colored up with Copic Markers (B95, B97, B99, E000, E00, E11, E25, E29, E40, E42, E44, R20, R29, Y21, Y32, YG63, and YG67). She is from the My Favorite Things set, You Make the Grade. The sentiment is from the new a la mode set, You Rule. All of these pretty papers are from the Stella and Rose collection from My Mind's Eye. They are accented with some Not Quite Navy card stock and some Kraft card stock from Papertrey Ink. I also added some Hero Arts crocheted lace, some cream colored craft thread, and a Not Quite Navy button made with my Sizzix die. Thanks so much for visiting with me today! Hello again! I hope that you enjoyed your day! Today is a special day in our family because it just happens to be my Dad's birthday! Happy Birthday Daddy! This is the birthday card that I made for him. This delightful set is from Papertrey Ink. It is called Tiny Treats: Birthday. This sweet little truck reminded me of the one that my Dad drove when I was a little girl. The best part is that when I gave him his card...he was reminded of the same truck! I used the Mat Stack 5 die from PTI to cut out the Baja Breeze polka dotted piece. The papers are from Basic Grey and the buttons are from Papertrey Ink. I added two different kinds of stitiching to the main panel and the card stock strip. Short and sweet post for tonight. Thanks so much for visiting with me...Toodles! :D
